India: The meat chain crashes, and the tanners think to turn to the US market. Pakistan: the government lowers taxes

The recent ban on cattle trade to the previous provisions on the slaughter taken in Uttar Pradesh and other key states, the Indian meat chain risks paralysis. The leather chain paradoxically has to resort to the supply of tannery raw material from abroad. It is the alarm launched by the Calcutta district tanneries association that, once the stock goes out of stock within a couple of months, entrepreneurs may be forced to shop for US cattle. Meanwhile, in Pakistan, it seems that the government has decided to accept the request of the local tanning association, which wants to review the import taxes. According to International Leather Maker, Islamabad for 2017-2018 decided to lower taxation.
