Exhibitions 2 | Berlin, buyers are there, but they dilated purchases

Cautious and Waiting Buyers. It is the approach by which buyers visited the Berlin salons that closed on 6 July. A trend that also manifested itself in earlier trade shows such as Pitti and White. “Buyers are interested in collections, but they wait before ordering. They want to evaluate stock inventories after the balances. Also, usually November-December were the months in which we delivered products for next summer. In some case, now they shifted to January” says Giampietro Melchiorri from the Berlin Premium, the event that sees for the first time exhibiting the brand Fabric Barracuda. “We are delighted with this first experience where we presented an overview of the new collection focused on sneakers,” says Gianmaria Vacirca’s manager. “We have written some orders and made appointments for next week in Milan. The German market, where we are focusing our efforts, is not a simple one because it has a very loyal approach and therefore it’s difficult to penetrate.”
