Lineapelle and Simac Tanning Tech's numbers: resilience and synergy

Reacting to the impact of a prolonged and still super-challenging crisis, with a test of profound resilience and synergy, Lineapelle closes its 106th edition with “an inevitable, but expected decline” in attendance numbers. That being said, it brought more than 21,000 operators to the fair, representing more than 7,000 companies, and at the same time, showing a vitality of sorts – on the part of its exhibitors – that is important,  Such planning now awaits the response of those who, in the end, must turn the fashion supply chain around: customers. At the same time, Simac Tanning Tech, an exhibition of technology for the leather supply chain, was held in conjunction with Lineapelle, Sept. 23-25 in the spaces of Fiera Milano Rho.

Numbers, resistance and synergy

21,433 professional operators participated, together with 1,150 exhibitors, to Lineapelle 106”, reads a note. “The show confirmed itself as the ideal occasion for the meeting and sharing of a supply chain that, with the quality of its creative offerings, investments in product innovation and the expansion of services, welcomed a quality public to the fair. A volume of admissions that suffered” from an inevitable but expected decline, given the negativity of the economic situation and the influence of so many critical issues external to the fashion industry itself. 59% of operators attending the fair came from Italy and the remaining 41% from 109 countries, representing more than 7,000 companies in the supply chain.

An indispensable place for comparison

Solid numbers that demonstrate creative, innovative dynamism and a vitality that offers potential reassurance, despite the fact that the economic phase still remains very complicated”. Lineapelle, in short, “has shown that it has the ability and strength to position itself as an indispensable place of comparison”, comments President Gianni Russo in the note. “A space to intercept, discuss and evolve all the possible new inputs, and productive and commercial paradigms that can give life to a season of revival. This was also made possible by the strengthening of the strategic alliance with Simac Tanning Tech”.

Working as a system is the only way to compete

“In a global market that imposes ever-new challenges on us, working as a system is the only way to compete”, says Simac Tanning Tech President Mauro Bergozza. “The synergy between Simac Tanning Tech and Lineapelle, between technology and materials, represents a virtuous model for the entire Made in Italy industry. Working together allows us to strengthen our leadership and look to the future with confidence, promoting a supply chain system vision that goes beyond the supply chain and individual markets”. The technology fair “closed its 51st edition with a positive balance, proving to be the strategic platform of reference for the sector, capable of generating new connections and business opportunities at the international level. This is confirmed by the data: ore than 7,000 attendees, about 49% international visitors, and 25% foreign exhibitors from about 20 countries”.
