Lineapelle, the creative interweaving that takes shape in the supply chain

There is a world made up of interweaving, fabrics, and intersections between materials. It’s precisely in this creative space that the supply chain takes shape. For the past few days, at Lineapelle (February 11–13), this interweaving manifested itself, defined itself, and then opened up, putting itself at the service of the entire leather and fashion sector.

The supply chain takes shape in the interweaving

“I only missed the year of Covid, but I have been at Lineapelle since November 1985”, recalls Paolo Marini, who, with Nanni 1955 in Porto Sant’Elpidio in the Marche region, creates fashion accessories and components for footwear and leather goods that interweave fabrics, chains, and a great deal of imagination. We have optimized our space, but we are here because with the right ideas, you can generate new interest”. Natural materials such as jute combined with rhinestones, assembled in leather, and a desire to continuously improve the style offering.

Rewarding consistency

“Being at Lineapelle is always important. We believe in this type of event”, recalls Silvia Polli, executive managing director of Manifatture di Domodossola, a historic fourth-generation company, “because it helps us to be present in all areas and reach customers. This edition of Lineapelle has been positive for us: we almost had more foreign customers than Italian ones, with visitors from Japan who appreciated our product variety. I am sure that consistency will pay off. Our company has the advantage of being able to design and manufacture everything in-house, which helps us in these complicated times. The only limit to weaving is imagination”.

Family stories

Versatility is the collection presented at Lineapelle by Nastrotex Cufra, a company based in Covo in the province of Bergamo, now in its third generation. “My grandfather founded it in 1953”, recalls Rebecca Cucchi, the young marketing manager, with affection. Today, my father is in charge of technical clothing and my aunt Barbara is in charge of footwear, producing high-performance elastic solutions. At Lineapelle, we have our flagship products, in black and white but actually available in many colors, with prints, screen prints, and silicones, adaptable in height even for the production of sneakers. Our products are sold in North Africa, Spain, Portugal, and Eastern Europe, and being at Lineapelle means choosing not to stop, always looking for new markets”.
