Tempe ended 2025 with revenue slightly down. The company, owned equally by Inditex and the García Peralta family, oversees the design, production and distribution of footwear and accessories for all Inditex group brands. As of January 31, 2026, Tempe closed its financial year with revenue and margins broadly in line with the previous year. According to the audit report by Ernst & Young (EY), the result reflects the company’s proactive supply chain management and operational flexibility, which allowed it to adapt to market conditions and absorb changes to logistics routes without affecting results.
Tempe closes 2025 with lower revenue
Tempe closed the 2025/2026 financial year (February 2025-January 2026) with revenue of €1.574 billion, down 2.5% from the previous year. Despite the pressures created by the geopolitical backdrop and ongoing wars, margins only moved slightly. Profit came in at €202.77 million, compared with €203.7 million in the previous period, a decline of 0.5%. The figures, taken from Tempe’s financial statements filed with the Companies Register, were reported by Economia Digital Galicia. Legally based in Arteixo (La Coruña) and headquartered in Elche (Alicante), Tempe had 2,098 employees as of January 31, 2026, including 2,000 on permanent contracts. That number’s likely to rise with the opening of the new distribution and logistics center at Parc Sagunt, which will be managed by the newly created Tempe Levante.
The figures
Looking again at the latest filed financial statements, EY highlighted inventory valuation in its report, noting that it now represent 20% of total company assets, with a value of almost €248 million. Tempe also distributed dividends and remuneration from other equity instruments totaling €120.3 million in 2025, compared with €110.9 million in 2024.
