In India, a Ministry for Bovine rise concerns for leather traders

In India, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is told to be setting up a ministry for bovine, a promise already announced in the electoral campaign by the politician. To push for the introduction was Visha Hindu Parishad, a Hindu organization, that has long called for the ban on slaughter, consumption and sale of beef to protect the species that would be at risk of extinction. The position of the Hinduists had sparked the debate, but even more to ignite the spirits was the free way of Premier Modi. The politician has been accused of Muslim anti-Islamist feelings by many Muslims, and mostly employed in leather processing. In his defense, the Indian government has explained it’s not only the religious concern behind this move but also health and safety reasons.
