Tyson Foods are going to expand their production. In fact, supposedly the American giant of food industry is about to invest, in the United States, about 300 million dollars in a new manufacturing plant, located in the state of Utah. As reported by Deseret News, a local daily newspaper, the Economic Development State managers were the ones who made the announcement, over the past days, about the upcoming opening. While making it public, they emphasized that 800 people will be employed in the new factory, to begin with; subsequently, the number of workers is going to increase up to 1,200 in the next three years. In the meat manufacturing plant, which will extend across around 37,000 square metres, they are going to process bovine and pork meats. “Once it is fully running – remarked Nate Hodne, Tyson Fresh Meats senior vice-president, while posting a comment on the Deseret News web portal – the new factory will enable us to meet a growing demand for meat, nice and ready, coming from the Western area of the United States”. Still they have not made public the name of the place where they are due to build the new processing plant.
