Change at the top of Gemata: Giulio Mandruzzato is the new CEO

Cambio ai vertici di Gemata: il nuovo CEO è Giulio Mandruzzato

There has been a change at the top of the Vicenza-based company, a leading supplier of industrial machinery for leather finishing. Gemata has announced the appointment of Giulio Mandruzzato as its new CEO, taking over from Gianni Maitan. The company has described the news as “an important generational and leadership transition at the helm of the company”. The change comes after a transition process that began over a year and a half ago.

Between continuity and innovation

The appointment marks the beginning of a new development and innovation path, while remaining “faithful to its tradition”. This operation “represents a natural transition of continuity and renewal, part of a broader process of governance evolution”, the company announced in a statement, “aimed at preparing Gemata for future challenges and consolidating its role as an international leader”. A change of pace to meet the challenges of a constantly changing global market.

Towards emerging markets

Gianni Maitan, who has led Gemata’s growth for over twenty-three years, will continue to be part of the group as Chairman of the Board of Directors. From this position, he will offer his experience in the development of new technological and innovation projects.
