Lineapelle94 aims at increasing quantity and quality, while promoting “new contacts to develop in the future”

The aim is to confirm the portfolio of clients and make it more valuable through new contacts. As well, to suggest light, perforated, coloured leather to play a leading role in summer. To start up new relationships which are meant to get closer in the months to come. Lineapelle94, the most important international exhibition for leather and materials, has kicked off at Fieramilano Rho, and is on the agenda until Thursday 22 February. “Lineapelle is a date we can’t miss – points out Raffaele Ravallese from Pronto Pelli tannery -. After our rewarding participation in Lineapelle London, we hope we’ll keep finding new clients”. “It would be nice to see again, at the fair, in addition to top brands, Italian fashion small and medium-sized enterprises, artisan at times – remark from Carli tannery -. Unfortunately, many of them stopped working, other turned to a third-party-business, though we are confident they will get back”. Fashion designers, manufacturers, consultants have been crowding into the fair halls and aisles since 9am, this morning (closing time today is 6pm). Aloise Karindi, a French female fashion student, is searching for glossy leather for footwear and apparel, and woven leather for accessories. She is very happy to take part in Lineapelle, for the first time. “It is a big place, there are many people, several youngsters, and a lot of competitors”- she points out at the end, while smiling; though she also emphasizes that “it means that this is the right place to be”. Aloise might be one of those new contacts that exhibitors want to create, hopefully, possibly looking ahead at a bright future as a fashion designer. “The aim is to reinforce relationships with our best customers and, as well, to forge new ones – clears up Nada Molon, administration manager at David System tannery -. The first step to make it is to be here, and we are here indeed, presenting peculiar suggestions and tips for summer 2019; on the other hand, we also exhibit classic products, most appreciated ever”.
