TFL to open their Global Fashion Center in Castelfranco, Tuscany. The world’s midpoint is here

Yesterday TFL inaugurated their new Global Fashion Center in Castelfranco di Sotto (Pisa, Tuscany). The multinational corporation, which offers chemicals for the leather industry, announced the opening as the beginning “of a new age”. “This area will become our footwear and leather goods world center – pointed out Giuseppe Procopio (Head Manager Finishing Central and South Italy) -. All of our international Units and our customers may come over here to share their knowledge and develop together new application methods, aiming to find innovative products, compliant with regulations and guidelines”. In the new space, they have set up two showrooms to host collections that will be consistently updated, every 3 to 6 months, accordingly. Here visitors may find both trendy articles and “evergreen” items, next to a number of selected products more oriented to technical elements and less connected with fashion. Several leather entrepreneurs, coming from all over the world, took part in the event, which also hosted the first TFL Global Leather Forum focused on “E-volution. The new frontiers of e-commerce”. At the conference, they talked about new visibility options and prospective opportunities, given by online commerce, for the leather manufacturing industry. Gianni Russo, President of UNIC (the Italian Tanners Association) also participated in the meeting. Ultimately, in the evening, they presented the Fall/Winter 2019-2020 Fashion Collection through a parade of accessories and shoes.
