Cameron Charles London leather jackets debut. “Almost exclusively Italian materials and manufacture: the UK lacks the needed skill”

Little brands grow. From Great Britain comes the debut of Cameron Charles London, a brand of leather jackets for men that are made in the Empoli area with hides tanned in Tuscany and, in part, Turkey. Management stated that it had tried to work exclusively with British companies but couldn’t find manufacturers “on a par with Italian skills”. The brand’s styling is youthful, in the £740-1400 price range, described as “traditionally English with Neapolitan tailoring”, the leather of choice is nappa and linings are Scotch wool. From £1600 and up the jackets can be custom-made. (pt)
