Engines running and already whirring at full speed for Lineapelle, scheduled to take place from 20 to 22 September in the pavilions of Fieramilano Rho. The summer period has failed to hinder the organisers’ efforts or prevent the record-breaking registration figure achieved at the end of July from continuing to rise. Indeed, to date, the number of exhibitors at Lineapelle has reached 1,240, 6% more than at the September 2015 edition. An increase that confirms the great sense of expectation for the Autumn/Winter 2017/18 edition of Lineapelle which, in the last few months, has carried out widespread promotion and communication activities, aimed not only at the media of the sector, but also at a careful selection of newspapers and reference websites for the worlds of fashion, business, design, furniture and cars. This year, new elements include visits from many foreign delegations, coordinated by ITA-ICE with the support of the MISE (Ministry for Economic Development). A new dimension for the Trend Areas, located in pavilions 13-15, 9-11 and 22-24 and organised based on the type of goods traded there. Finally, there is also news within the company itself, with the appointment of Graziano Balducci of Conceria Antiba (Santa Croce sull’Arno) as the Sole Director of Lineapelle: “An important, meaningful appointment – comments the Tuscan businessman– and a very exciting one, because Lineapelle is the “fair of all fairs” and its leadership must be repeated and reinforced. Something which, in any case, is already happening, thanks to the excellent organisational work in progress”.
