Salone Internazionale del Mobile has decided to postpone its next edition (number 60) to June, 7-12, 2022. The decision was taken on Monday, January 17, by FederlegnoArredo, in agreement with Fieramilano, in view of the “pandemic situation that would also hinder the presence of foreign exhibitors and visitors”. The Salone, in its traditional formula and in presence, was scheduled on April 5-10.
From April to June
“Preserving the international value of the Salone del Mobile means allowing our companies to meet existing and potential customers. Creating the conditions for our exports to continue to grow. In this sense, the driving force of a trade fair like Salone del Mobile has no equal,” says Claudio Feltrin, president of FederlegnoArredo, commenting on the postponement.
According to Feltrin, June will hold a totally safe fair. An event that will allow visitors “to see live the best of the creations of design companies, whose high level of participation shows how much the sector recognises the great value of the event in terms of positioning and business”. Already in December, the exhibition was sold out with booths covering all 20 pavilions at Fieramilano Rho.
