Gearing up at Lineapelle93: Italian leather at the fair “to strengthen the market”

“We are on the lookout for new materials, up to date, that match our business policy. Exhibitors at Lineapelle are ready to make investments” in creativity and innovation, “and that is positive for the whole industry”. Lineapelle93 has opened this morning. Gabriele Brotini, from Pakerson footwear factory, based in Tuscany, well summarizes reasons and expectations that bring here, in Fieramilano Rho, visitors coming from all over the world. “The opening of the fair has been smart: trend of visitors is already positive”, says Silvia Polli, from Domodossola Manufacturing, as they exhibit in the accessories and components area. “Winter production is growing remarkably”, she adds, and she points out: “Our weavings are more for summer, though they are considerably increasing for winter season as well. As for business market, we are doing well and we are confident”. Likewise Roberta Castrovinci, from Ramponi, another company which focuses their manufacturing on accessories: “Since times have been extended, we had longer time to set up our samples and we are ready for this afternoon and tomorrow at this point. Our placement has been solid over the years, hence our expectations are demanding, as this is our major fair”. As well good vibrations in the stand of Claudia di Chiampo (Vicenza) tannery. Here Flavio Fetta points out: “I feel optimistic, trend of visitors is good. This year – he adds – we focused our efforts on grain, which is going up, rather than on split leather”. “Expectations on the three days of the exhibition are high – ends Antonio Gargiulo, from Gargiulo Leather, based in Naples, specialised in manufacturing materials for glovers and apparel -. Early vibrations are good today. Still we are cautious. 2017 start was slower than last year. In the last months though something is moving on apparently. Looking forward to getting back here”.
