Lineapelle 103 is preparing to cut the ribbon: “No one alike”

“There are no events capable of putting together in the same place and moment 1,167 companies from 43 countries”, says Gianni Russo (president of Lineapelle), while in visit to Lineapelle 103 (Fieramilano Rho, February 20th to 22nd). The fair puts together tanneries, manufacturers of accessories, components, textiles and synthetics from all over the world. The numbers confirm that the 103rd edition is once again “the reference leather fair of the world”, pointed our Russo. The fair uses the slogan “Be part of this game” for this edition. Here are just some of the other events being held during the same three days as Lineapelle 103: Micam, Mipel, TheOne Milano, Milano Fashion&Jewels. These make up the galaxy of Confindustria Moda.

Lineapelle 103’s program

Within the pavilions of Fieramilano Rho there will be 1,167 exhibitors from 43 countries, covering an exhibiting space of over 44,000 square meters. Numbers proving that the event is the reference one for a global chain made of 60,000 businesses and 2 and a half million workers and generating 150 billion USD. Beside from mentioning the strength of the event, Russo discusses markets: “I must highlight how this edition comes at a time during which many geopolitical concerns are creating new consumption trends for the luxury industry”.

The initiatives

Lineapelle also includes many initiatives, events, and seminars. All united under the slogan “Be part of this game”. The new item consists in the Lineapelle Interiors/Leather Duets space, created to showcase the versatility of Italian leather within the interior design marketplace. Five duets between tanneries and design companies, resulting in new projects. Ideas seeming like prototypes but actually already available for order. Among the initiatives are the ones from Comitato Moda for the 2025 summer season, Area Trend (pavilions 9, 13, and 22), seminars open to the public at the Fashion Theater. Then the catwalks by Lineapelle Designers Edition (pavilion 24). And again, Science Based Fashion Talks, the initiative In the Making Atto II and contest Amici per la Pelle.
