The latest edition of Lineapelle London (8 July) is now in the books. Held at the Ham Yard Hotel, the event brought together an international line-up of exhibitors — predominantly Italian — to present their SS 26/27 collections to a British fashion industry audience. Once again, the event proved to be a fertile ground for interest and connections. Attendees reported maintaining relationships with existing business partners and, more importantly, collecting a host of new contacts. Those returning after a break — or attending for the first time — were pleased with their decision.
A hub of interest and connections
Lineapelle London also marked the first opportunity to unveil the seasonal trends developed by the Lineapelle Fashion Committee, under the slogan “Just Before”. What stood out to visitors was the cultural vibrancy of the event, paired with the high quality of the offer — particularly Made in Italy. Exhibiting companies, mainly tanneries alongside accessory and fabric suppliers, presented style ideas and business opportunities. The market context for leather and materials in the fashion sector remains challenging, as is well known, and many attendees expressed a clear appetite for innovation, with an openness to exploring new channels and markets. In the run-up to the New York show (16–17 July) and the Milan edition at Fieramilano Rho (23–25 September), Lineapelle London confirmed itself as the ideal setting to consolidate positions and develop new projects.
