Three strategic appointments to open 2026. Three trade shows that it would be reductive to call simply “fairs”, as they “position themselves as advanced laboratories for analysing the present and defining the future of the supply chain”. Lineapelle London (20 January), Lineapelle New York (28–29 January) and Lineapelle Milano (11–13 February) “confirm themselves”, reads a statement, “as platforms for observation, interpretation and direction. Places for dialogue and exchange, where materials, expertise and visions come together to read change and translate it into tangible value for the fashion, luxury and design systems, and for the creative manufacturing supply chain”. This is how the global Lineapelle network sets 2026 alight.
Lineapelle sets 2026 alight
Lineapelle London
Lineapelle London reaches its 31st edition. On Tuesday 20 January, at the centrally located Ham Yard Hotel, 48 exhibitors (31 tanneries, 11 accessory makers and 6 synthetic material producers) will welcome visits from “a select British clientele: demanding, creative and unconventional”. Two style presentations are scheduled, analysing in detail “the theme developed for the Summer 2027 season by the LINEAPELLE Fashion Committee”. Entitled Overview Effect, the concept explores the need for novelty and for solutions that push towards the search for the “never seen before”.
Lineapelle New York
“On Wednesday 28 and Thursday 29 January, the baton passes to Lineapelle New York”, say the organisers. Now in its 48th edition, the show captures the interest of the US market by presenting a refined and exclusive selection of leathers, materials, accessories and components. In Manhattan, at the Metropolitan Pavilion, there will be 89 exhibitors (70 tanneries, 8 accessory makers, 10 synthetic producers and 1 services provider). Three fashion seminars are scheduled (two on the first day and one on the second). Of particular note is “the presentation of the project The Circular Shift, a concept based on the Circular Mobility System developed by Hyundai Transys in partnership with Lineapelle and Poltrona Frau”. The Circular Shift represents the second chapter in the collaboration between Lineapelle and Hyundai Transys.
Lineapelle Milano
From Wednesday 11 to Friday 13 February 2026, Lineapelle will celebrate its 107th edition at Fiera Milano Rho. A total of 841 exhibitors are expected (433 tanneries, 289 accessory makers, 93 synthetic producers and 10 service companies, figures updated as of 15 January 2026) from 32 countries. The first major novelty concerns an exhibition synergy: within Hall 5, running in close conjunction with Lineapelle, the 65th edition of Filo, the leading trade show for yarns and fibres, will take place.
Projects at the fair
“For its third chapter, Lineapelle Interiors returns to the fair: a creative platform showcasing 24 exclusive projects, each the result of a dialogue between a design company and a leather or materials manufacturer. The overlap with the Milan Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games will be highlighted by the creation of a Lounge & Show area entitled Lineapelle Après-Ski”. Lineapelle 107 will also host the conclusion of the 15th edition of the “Amici per la Pelle” competition, this year themed “Leather at high altitude: history and sport between mountains and traditions”. Finally, the programme of talks will be “rich in insights and technical-scientific content, ranging from leather traceability to the definition of new shared environmental standards”. Among other topics, speakers will present the work in progress of the Leather Leaders project and developments within the Fashion Pact, a shared protocol aimed at decarbonising the supply chain.
