A workshop to keep up with the EUDR. UNIC – Italian Tanneries will meet on February 12 at Lineapelle (Fieramilano Rho, 11–13) to share updates on the Anti-Deforestation Regulation in light of the changes introduced by EU Regulation No. 2650/2025, officially published on December 19. The conference, which will also feature an address by Cotance Secretary General Gustavo Gonzalez Quijano, will also be an opportunity to discuss Hides Eco Track, the IT platform developed by UNIC/Lineapelle to support EUDR management for operators in the bovine leather supply chain.
Keeping up with the EUDR
Of course, the optimal outcome would always be the removal of bovine hides (which are not a driver of deforestation) from the list of commodities and goods subject to the regulation. But since this exclusion hasn’t been achieved (or at least not yet), it’s better for operators to stay informed. The seminar is scheduled from 2:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the Gemini Room (ground floor of the fair’s Service Center). It will be held in Italian, with English translation provided. Participation is free, but registration for the event is required:
