Première Vision prepares the inauguration of its July format (5th – 7th)

Here it is. With two years’ delay Première Vision prepares the inauguration of its July format. The change in location in the fair’s calendar for the event showcasing Fall/Winter collections (usually scheduled for September) was announced in 2020. The pandemic had forced organizers to freeze the schedule, but now the current situation allows the plan to resume. From July 5th to 7th, exhibitors will be able to present their collections of materials for the fashion industry at the stands of the Parc des Expositions in Paris Nord Villepinte. The physical event is joined by a digital one (4th through 8th). The exhibition will show the Fall/Winter 2023 season.

Format for July

“We are optimistic because the global health situation is improving – writes in a note Gilles Lasbordes, managing director of Première Vision –. This allows, beside from a couple exceptions, more flexibility in international travel. We hope to see more participation from non-European visitors”. Sadly, the scenario still has some criticalities that don’t allow a fully optimistic view for organizers. “We remain cautious. The international situation remains chaotic dur to the war in Ukraine – concludes Lasbordes –. Political instability has economic consequences. We see record-high inflation, with future impacts on consumption. Fashion has difficulties in sourcing materials and faces unprecedented pressure on costs of raw materials and energy”.
