With the exhibition closing on 25 September, Lineapelle — a true laboratory of ideas and innovation — has embarked on its world tour with an ambitious yet essential goal: to share new visions. Visions that move beyond the tangible nature of materials to explore the intersections between craftsmanship, fashion, colour and artificial intelligence. First stop: China. Or rather, first stops — as there are at least two destinations where these new visions will be exchanged: Shanghai (this past week) and Guangzhou (on Thursday, 16 October).
Sharing new visions
The journey began in Shanghai, where on Friday, 10 October, and on Saturday, 11 October, six events were taking place in the form of “private conversations” under the theme High Design: Crafting the Future Between Italy and China. “Lineapelle”, explains CEO Fulvia Bacchi, “is asserting itself as a global leader in high design, shaping a future where the most exclusive creative community of fashion and lifestyle brands comes together. High design is not just a concept — it’s a movement. A collective space where brands and designers unite to imagine, create and redefine the future”.
Building cultural bridges
The locations are as diverse as they are exclusive — from Donghua University to Ontimeshow — with each dialogue tailored to a specific audience. “High design is where Italian excellence meets global imagination”, says Orietta Pelizzari, Lineapelle’s cross-cultural creative and business advisor. “It’s not just about materials or aesthetics. It’s about building bridges between cultures, industries and generations. The future of design is a shared language — and Italy must be the voice leading that conversation”.
Colour Intelligence in Guangzhou
The second stop is Guangzhou, where on Thursday, 16 November, at the Four Seasons Hotel, Lineapelle will host a fashion-focused lecture exploring the chromatic intelligence behind current and future market challenges. The session, titled Colour Intelligence: Global Trends & Finish Directions Shaping the Future Markets, will delve into how colour and surface innovation are driving the evolution of design and consumer demand. Lineapelle’s world tour has officially begun.
