Simac Tanning Tech second day, ended yesterday, firmly reinforces first day good vibrations. According to a number of exhibitors, this year visitors have remarkably increased, both from Italy and abroad. Showing much interest in the new trends presented at the fair. In other words, Simac Tanning Tech is by all means the world most important fair of machinery for footwear, leather goods and tannery. “We are happy: our expectations were fulfilled, since many visitors showed up on both days”- says Gianni Maitan, CEO of Gemata. “A lot of Italians came round, while several appointments were already fixed with international customers. Definitely an excellent outcome, much better than last year”. “Very good vibrations , big turnout, bigger than last year’s , I believe”- replies Alberto Paccagnella, president of Omac, as he emphasizes “ a lively curiosity for sector trends , companies and technical operators going back and forth, prompting enquiries: a bustling arena “. Says Antonio Antoniazzi, owner of Equitan and councilor for Assomac “Visitors did not let us down. Lots of them, from many countries. Indeed this is a hit fair, perfect mirror of the Italian expertise in the world: when it comes to machinery, technology, creativity and attention to customers, Italians are the best”.
According to Massimo Pollini (Sagitta), “this is by all means the most relevant fair in the world. Three days is a short time though. Setting a lot of machinery and taking care of several customers is a bit stressful in the end, still very rewarding. We run commercial relationships with customers from all over the world, and we keep working a lot both in Italy and Europe, and in the rest of the world as well”.
