Pinault stretches his hands over Maison Valli, BCBG avoids bankruptcy, J. M. Weston changes creative director

François Pinault (pictured) again hits in Italy with the financial Artémis, through which, the French magnate enters the property of Maison Valli, a brand founded by designer Gianbattista Valli in 2004. According to newspaper rumours, the agreement provides that the quota Pinault may become one-third by 2020 and by 2021. On the other side of the world, the New York Tribunal has authorised the passage of BCBG Max Azria, currently under Chapter 11, to the rope made up of Marquee brands and Global brands and is expected on 31 July for the closing. J. M. Weston, a luxury shoemaker, also entrusts creative direction to Olivier Saillard. The art historian, now director of the Paris Art Museum, replaces Michel Perry.
