MTWH acquires Fixo: the focus on accessories continues

Fixo joins MTW Holding. A new operation in the accessories’ segment in service of fashion and luxury industries. Fixo, headquartered in Campodarsego (Padova), is specialized in the prototyping and production of metal decorations and accessories. With this operation, the focus on the accessories’ segment continues. Fixo joins the group controlled by Dbag, active in the same field with Metalworks (Bergamo), Mengoni e Nassini (Florence) and FGF (Florence).

The focus on accessories continues

MTWH has a revenue of about 65 million euro and employs over 300 people. The group located in Castelli Calepio (Bergamo) creates prototypes of personalized accessories and manufactures them. For example: latches, buckles and metal and plastic accessories for the leather goods, footwear, apparel and jewelry segments. With the acquisition of Padova-based Fixo, which has a 30-years history in the sector, MTWH will reach 80 million and 340 employees. “The investment – reads a press release -, will contribute to the development of an integrated platform servicing the most important luxury brands and support with the internationalization of the group”.

Fixo’s generational change

For Andrea Zanella, founder of Fixo, “the agreement will allow the company to strengthen its production platforms and widen the partnership with the most important brands of the fashion system. It will also allow the promotion of a generational change inside the company, helping the future development”. Cesare Luzzana, CEO of MTWH, highlighted how the Italian cluster of MTWH has the goal of “further growing the size and competitivity of the group, which has a distinctive specialization”. Before being sold to Dbag, MTW Holding was owned by Bravo Capital, which also controls tannery Vesta Corporation.
