From Tokyo to London, New York to Milan: Lineapelle gathers pace

Lineapelle gathers pace and reigniting the engines of its global trade fair circuit, reaffirming its role as a leading platform for innovation across the fashion, luxury and design sectors. The event returns in 2025 with an international agenda that blends creativity, research and networking. The first stop took place in Tokyo, as part of the Tokyo Leather Fair, where trends for the Spring/Summer 2026 season were unveiled. The focus now shifts to Autumn/Winter 2026–2027 — a season that encourages the breaking of established moulds.

Lineapelle in motion

London, New York and Milan will be the next destinations in a journey that continues to grow in scale and significance. To date, over 1,100 exhibitors have already confirmed their participation in Lineapelle Milano. On 22–23 May, Lineapelle stopped in Tokyo, bringing to the Tokyo Leather Fair a comprehensive overview of trends for Spring/Summer 2026. At the heart of the presentation was the concept My Head in the Clouds — an invitation to explore lightness and imagination. The Trend Areas provided a tangible insight into the stylistic evolution of materials, while seminars guided Japanese visitors through an in-depth analysis of emerging trends. This Japanese leg reaffirmed the strength of the partnership with the Asian market and Lineapelle’s key role in driving innovation on a global scale.

“Just Before” —  for Autumn/Winter 2026–2027

With Tokyo now behind, Lineapelle turns its attention to the Autumn/Winter 2026–2027 season with a conceptual and creative approach. The theme selected by the Fashion Committee is Just Before — an invitation to pause just before action, to reflect, and to explore new forms of expression. Materials are defined by striking contrasts: minimalism coexists with maximalism, neutral tones are punctuated by bolder colour accents. A blend of nostalgic references and forward-looking ambition comes to life through new surfaces, experimental finishes and fresh visual harmonies. These previews will be showcased in London on 8 July and New York on 16–17 July, leading up to the main event in Milan from 23 to 25 September, which will welcome over 1,100 exhibitors from around the world.
