Hermès opens its doors to the public. LVMH allures young talent

An exhibition space was set up in Carré du Temple, in the centre of Paris, from the 18th to 26th of November to show the public the craftsmen behinds 10 different Hermès goods (including accessories, bags and gloves). The public had free access to the salon and had the opportunity to discover firsthand the secrets behind the success of the maison top of the range products. Included in the show “Hermès outside the walls” there were also some talks about materials, sustainability and craftsmanship. LVMH, meanwhile, organised an open day to meet young talent. On the 22nd of November 220 students, selected from universities across Europe, through a competition which focussed on innovative ideas for the luxury industry, were able to have a guided tour (Inside LVMH) which he was attended by Bernard Arnault.
