Data provided by USHSLA, US Holders Association, on trends in the first quarter of 2017, captures a two-speed trend in values. Salted leather with salt grew double-digit: by 17% in volume (3.8 million units) and 19% in value (380 million dollars). On the other hand, wet blue is in a negative area, with a performance in the January-March period of -6% in volume (1.5 million units) and -5% in value (142 million dollars).
