“Among the best companies with international standing for management and financial reliability monitored by Cerved with the legal entity in the Veneto region”. It’s the summary of reasons behind the receival of the Premio Industria Felix by Sicit Group.
Sicit wins the Premio Industria Felix
Owned by Intesa Holding and NB Renaissance, Sicit is “an excellent Italian enterprise with a green core, focused on the concept of circular economy and owner of an incredible ESG rating – reads the note -. It transforms the byproducts of the tanning industry (extracting amino-acids and peptides from collagen) into bio-stimulants for the agricultural segment and retardants for the plaster industry”.
That makes Sicit the supplier of “the main international agrochemical enterprises”. An activity “of strategic importance for the Vicenza tanning segment”. Sicit, in fact, “recovers and transforms the residues into a high-added value product that is totally biodegradable, without risks for public health and the environment, nearly limiting the production of waste to nearly null. An outcome that results from important research and development investments”.
An award to sustainability
“I am proud of this additional award given to Sicit – said the CEO Massimo Neresini -. Today’s award is tied to sustainability, which is the mission we make possible every day with an unrelenting effort and global tools and skills”. The Premio Industria Felix is organized by Industria Felix Magazine, supplement news source of Il Sole 24 Ore. It counts on the collaboration of “Cerved, Università Luiss Guido Carli, A.C. Industria Felix, is supported by Confindustria and the sponsorship of Simest”. The selection is done on “the basis of 700,000 financial statements of SPA (legal entity), ranking them based on their EBITDA”. Other parameters are considered “from outside a financial standpoint”.
