Countdown to the opening of Nuti Ivo tannery, aiming at innovation and sustainability, increasing productivity (+20%) and 25 new jobs

The new plant, which extends across 3,500 square metres, is due to start working in a month or so. That is the new factory, built up by Nuti Ivo Group in Santa Croce upon Arno, for leather manufacturing by Nuti Ivo tannery. Top modern and advanced machinery, placed in the plant, will guarantee remarkable energy-saving consumptions; in addition to that, point out from the company, “we will completely remove excess waste products alongside errors and imperfections in the processing stages”. At the end of the setup works, they will also renovate the existing tannery plant, which will be redeveloped through the implementation of new additional machines. “Such expansion is of paramount importance to us – remarked Fabrizio Nuti, who is in charge of the group -. Aiming to modernize our machinery, we have invested about 8 million euros. As a result of that, our manufacturing will increase by over 20% compared to current production. In other words, we are going to start a revolution, in the leather tanning industry, with regard to our management of work and areas, and for some manufacturing stages as well”. The leather-tanning group expect to take on 20 to 25 new employees.
