The Mastrotto Group takes off: +10% in 2015 (€462 million). 2016? “We will grow again”

The Mastrotto Group from Arzignano announced its 2015 financial statements and the numbers show off a situation that is much more than bright. At consolidated level, the Group recorded an increase in sales in 2014 of 10%, amounting to €42 million, reaching a total of €462 million, while net income for 2015 surpassed €25 million, an increase of 24% over the previous year. EBITDA of 9.8% on revenues. “We have a competitive position which is unique in the worldwide tanning sector,” comments the president of the group, Chiara Mastrotto. The secret of the driving force lies in the ability to diversify of the group, currently operating as leader in the leather industry as well as in that of the footwear, furniture and automotive sectors. And that’s not all. The Mastrotto Group was honoured in March by Coach as Best Leather Supplier, an award that recognised the quality of its service and its speed: leather deliveries guaranteed within 48 hours all over the world and for any quantities. In 2015, the Arzignano-based company continued to invest (€20 million, 4.4% of sales) and, as President Mastrotto adds, “2016 is a further year of growth for us despite the highly competitive international environment.” “We are in fact strengthening our market share in the three sectors in which we are present (auto, fashion and furniture) – she concludes – thanks to a serious plan for industrial investment within Italy and, internationally, in human resources and technology.” (art)
