Lineapelle joins the Adotta project by Scuola di Altagamma

Adotta, by Scuola di Altagamma, gets bigger. The third edition will have 9 new brands, Lineapelle and Gruppo Florence. Now there are 33 businesses and 38 schools involved in this new project. The goal is to face the need for resources in the future: 346,000 technical profiles, of which only 50% will be found.

Altagamma’s project

Adotta una Scuola creates customized training programs creating collaborations between schools and companies. The goal is to reduce the gap between demand and supply of technical profiles through programs capable of capturing the real needs of businesses. 11 new entities have joined the program in its third edition: B&B Italia, Gessi, Hotel Principe Di Savoia, Lefay Resort & Spa Lago Di Garda and Porro. As well as Prada, Santoni, Stone Island, Valentino, Gruppo Florence and Lineapelle. Altagamma highlights how the entrance of Gruppo Florence and Lineapelle “testifies the relevance and value of a project that aims to be a virtuous model to be extended to the entirety of Europe: an open platform also open to companies not currently partnered with Altagamma”.

The effort

Brioni, Fendi, Gucci, Stellantis and Zegna are on the other hand, companies having adopted a school. Overall 33 businesses are part of the projects, along with 38 “adopted” schools in 11 regions. Over 120 classes have been activated and over 2,500 students have been reached during the 3 editions held so far. The project is under the supervision of the president and CEO of Fendi, Serge Brunschwig. Lineapelle has meanwhile adopted Istituto Calasanzio, Liceo Scientifico Scienze Applicate e Tradizionali, in Empoli.

The ministry’s protocol

The Education minister Giuseppe Valditara (in photo at the time of the signature of the protocol in Rome on January 23rd), highlighted how Adotta una Scuola provides relevant support to the reform of technical high schools in Italy. Starting in September, says the Minister, the reform will include a “4+2 years path for students, a process to strengthen laboratory activities, internationalization and more chances to setup a program to alternate school and work”.

According to Matteo Lunelli, president of Altagamma: “The needs of companies for these profiles in the coming years will be around 346,000, of which only 50% will be found. With the Adotta una Scuola program, we mean to send a strong message to families so that they may consider these professional careers for their children. We also want to get our education system closer to businesses, so as to create a more solid tie with reference institutes”.
