Ramponi awards Kiko Kintanar’s creativity while setting its upcoming listing at the Stock Exchange

Kiko Kintanar has won the 2018 Ramponi Award. The young and talented fashion designer, born in the Philippines in 1993, got his award last Saturday, at Spazio Tortona 35, Milan, during the White Milan, an exhibition event that traditionally hosts the Ramponi Talent, a contest through which the company headquartered in Carbonate (in the province of Como) aims to “support young and talented designers, going hand in hand with them during the presentation of their works and giving them an opportunity to experience their own world, and all its various nuances”. Kintanar, who graduated at the Fashion Institute of the Philippines, was appointed “Designer of the Year 2017”during the Graduation Show held at his university. He is a freelance fashion designer: thanks to his work, “he’s been able to celebrate and perfectly deal with environmentally sustainable and natural materials supplied by Astarte”, a company recently bought out by Ramponi, a traditional exhibitor at Lineapelle, whose 95th edition is due to kick off next week, from Tuesday 25 till Thursday 27 September. This is an important deal, which will enable Ramponi to “take control over the whole manufacturing industry”, therefore further enhancing the standard of its products. That will also foster the business internationalization alongside the fight against unfair competition. Aiming to provide its customers with a fully detailed service (which already includes lasering, seaming and application of studs and rhinestones), Ramponi has lately implemented a new product line: embroidery on cut items (for example, shoe upper). This is important news for the group, which is consistently expanding, whose overall turnover amounts to 20 million euros. At this point, they are about to set their listing at the Milan Stock Exchange, in the AIM. They are likely to join the Stock Market by the end of the autumn 2018.
