Coronavirus, APLF is considering changing its dates: mid-month decision to be taken

APLF is considering changing its dates. Informa Markets, the body that organises the Hong Kong fair, takes note of the indications by the World Health Organisation, and questions the event calendar. The fair is programmed from March 31, till April 2, but it seems very likely for this dates to change.

APLF considers whether to change date

“APLF continues to closely monitor developments of Coronavirus – says Informa Markets press release -. As organisers, we are aligned with the efforts of the Hong Kong Department of Health as well as the WHO. The goal is to control and limit the spread of the infectious disease”.

New elements

“In light of WHO’s announcement on January 30 – continues the press release -, when Coronavirus was defined as a global emergency, the organisers considered alternative plans. Among these, there is the possibility of postponing APLF to a later date in 2020. In mid-February we will be in a position to give further communications”.
