Momad to double events while launching ShoesRoom, a new footwear format along with Madrid exhibition

The debut of ShoesRoom by Momad, a new footwear show event arranged by IFEMA (the Madrid fair), in collaboration with FICE (Spain’s footwear federation), is due to take place in Spain’s capital city on 1-3 March 2019, that is, nearly a month after Momad (scheduled on February 8-10) and Micam (scheduled on February 10-13). It is not going to be a new footwear fair though. As cleared up by organizers during the presentation of the event, held at Futurmoda, they are going to apply the format to a large (and collective) showroom of Spanish footwear. Here, a few weeks after the b2b show events, long-established or emerging Spain’s brands will meet up again with buyers and trade professionals, showing new products or making a recap about the ones formerly presented. The event will take place at the Teatro de La Nave, Madrid, (in the picture), adorned with modular and standardized setups. The aim of IFEMA is to engage exhibitors and visitors in a special show, which will also offer some valuable tips regarding style and process innovation in the Spanish footwear manufacturing industry. Supported by ICEX (Spain’s agency for corporate internationalization), ShoesRoom by Momad will be oriented towards a global opening, while aiming to be a relevant event for the domestic market development. On purpose, they are planning to engage buyers, multi-brands and department stores coming from all regions of Iberian Peninsula.
