Once upon a time, there was GDS: Gallery Shoes aims to attract 500 brands. To date 400 have confirmed they will participate

By the first week of May, 400 brands have confirmed that they will take part in the first edition of Gallery Shoes, the exhibition that will replace GDS, scheduled to take place from 27 to 29 August in the Areal Böhler on the outskirts of Düsseldorf. “Our aim for the first edition of Gallery Shoes was to showcase at least 500 international brands,” commented Ulrike Kähler, project director. The new exhibition will be divided into various themed areas: Premium, Contemporary & Urban, Comfort and Kids. Kähler named a few of those who have already confirmed they will participate: Calvin Klein, Candice Cooper, Chie Mihara, Karl Lagerfeld, Katy Perry Collection and others. And the Italian names sure to be present include Nero Giardini, Officine Creative and Naturino.
