Yesterday saw the first of two days of Lineapelle New York. And the first sensations are related to reviving a long-awaited event, that has always represented a turning point for the American market, while waiting for the commercial and stylistic “consecration” of Lineapelle Milano, scheduled on February 22- 24, 2022 at Rho exhibition centre (click here to get online accreditation).
The encouraging restart of Lineapelle New York
The first day of Lineapelle New York gave its 113 exhibitors (65 of them Italian, about 90 tanneries) the revitalizing feeling, from a psychological point of view, of being back in presence at the Metropolitan Pavilion in Manhattan. This was clear from the way many shared photos and posts on social media. And they did so by proposing the collections for the 2023 season to accredited buyers and designers. Reference theme: Beautiful & Fragile. Today is the end of the show: when the booths are “cold” we will try to understand what kind of feedback, despite Covid and all the current economic uncertainties, Lineapelle New York will have given to the market.
