The fashion system at Lineapelle: “There is visitors’ interest”

The 101st edition of Lineapelle (21-23 February) is the occasion to check the Italian and international fashion system. And the feedback from the booths at Fieramilano Rho is of a very active audience of buyers. In stylistic research, as Giuliano Russo of Russo di Casandrino tells us: “We have seen great interest in strong, bright colours and soft leathers, such as Spanish entrefino, in view of bags with less rigid constructions”. But also in the planning of the purchase: “Visitors make a targeted and specific search for items of interest, – reports Daniele Sestini of Tre Effe -. They are no longer lost. They perceive that there is a sense and a search already planned. And this is a positive sign”.

The 1,161 exhibitors at Lineapelle present their Spring Summer 2024 collections. “We assess the turnout positively,” says Alfonso Giannattasio of tannery Effegi, “the big international brands have come through”. On the same wavelength is Luigi De Vita of Deviconcia: “There are quality attendees: only people who count are coming”. On the subject of provenance, Marco Nuti of MB3 tannery: “the movement of European visitors is good”.

“From the Asian market, we have found mainly Koreans, waiting for the Chinese and Japanese, – adds Luca Stefanelli, tannery Mario Stefanelli & figli -. We register interesting contacts with customers from North America. We are confident”. “The movement of European and American customers is good, not in terms of quantity, but in terms of enthusiasm and quality, – confirms Paolo Rosati, tannery F.lli Rosati -. Since the post-pandemic, this edition of Lineapelle seems to us to be that of the definitive confirmation, in terms of logistics and relations between visitors to the fair”.
