A new logistics hub is on the horizon for Tempe, the footwear manufacturer within the Inditex group. The fashion giant has reportedly secured, through a public auction, a 300,000-square-metre site at Parc Sagunto, near Valencia. This would mark Tempe’s second logistics centre in the region, where Inditex is already building a new warehouse for the company, which designs, produces and distributes footwear and accessories for the group’s seven brands.

Through its subsidiary Alveston, Inditex submitted the only bid to purchase the land at Parc Sagunto, which had a starting auction price of EUR 160 million. According to reports in the Spanish press, Inditex is considering developing another logistics platform for its footwear arm, Tempe. Since it was the sole bidder, the final award of the plot is expected to take place soon. For the Spanish fast-fashion giant, this would represent Tempe’s second logistics hub in Parc Sagunto. Inditex has also established a new company, Tempe Levante, to oversee the construction of the site, which is expected to be operational by 2026. It will be the first Tempe logistics centre outside Elche, where the company’s headquarters are located (pictured).
