Leather to leather: Daniel Lee’s first campaign for Bottega Veneta relies on the brand’s heritage

Focus on leather in the new communication campaign carried out by Bottega Veneta. The Italian fashion house, acquired and controlled by Kering, unveiled the pictures of their spring-summer 2019 collection, taken by Tyrone LeBon in a private villa located in Ischia. Images do emphasize similarities between leather, as Bottega Veneta’s iconic material, and human body leather. One can see a back, a woven leather bag, somebody floating on the water, a woman covered with a leather trench. This is also the first campaign delivered by Daniel Lee, creative director of Bottega Veneta. He obviously decided to rely on the brand’s heritage.
