Moschino’s shake up: after the stylist, the GM leaves as well

Aeffe has decided to shake up Moschino. After creative director Jeremy Scott’s departure, the brand is now also dealing with the departure of general manager Stefano Secchi. “The operational continuity will be entrusted to counsellor Goffredo Palmerini”, said the owner of the brand. Moreover, after 40 years of service, Michelle Stein will leave his role as president of Aeffe on March 31st. The position will go to his second in command, Khoa Nguyen.

Moschino’s shake up

The departure of creative director Jeremy Scott generated a domino effect. With a press release on March 29th, Aeffe announced the departure of Moschino’s GM Stefano Secchi. A decision, says Aeffe in its press release, “following a discussion on the strategic vision of the brand”. Goffredo Palmerini will take over the role to ensure business continuity.

Aeffe’s streamlined approach

Michelle Stein is soon to leave his role as president of Aeffe USA. WWD says that Stein opened the first store and showroom for Aeffe’s products in 1983. But the group isn’t stopping there. In order to reduce the decision-making levels and costs, the group decided to incorporate (in full) Moschino and Aeffe Retail. This way, the group moves forwards with a rationalization and reorganization project that started one year ago via the merger with Velmar.
