German trade shows – Premium and Panorama – bring hopes to Italian companies aiming to breach into new markets

Today was the last day of the Berlin events. Premium and Panorama, the two most important trade fairs produced good results for the Italian exhibitors. Also Seek produced good results, in particular on the first day. On the other hand, Show & Order and Bright were a little bit subdued. “Overall it was a good experience for us. We go back home with some perspective and some more hope” said Giampietro Melchiorri of the Gal.men group of Montegranaro (Fermo), one of the first Italian shoe manufacturers to exhibit at Premium. “Overall it was a good experience and it leads the way to other upcoming events and for the market of Northern Europe (Switzerland, Germany, Benelux) which, perhaps, accounts for 90% of the visitors here in Berlin. The positive balance is also the result of significant changes and investments that Fermo entrepreneurs have been doing for years. Now we hope to reap the rewards.” At Panorama, in Berlin, also debuted the revamped brand Fornarina recently bought by Asian investors. “We had an excellent feedback and there were many visitors,” said Mauro Gabrielli, currently at the helm of the company. “We also had a good feedback on the brand at the show we organised at the fair” he concluded.
