Lineapelle and Simac Tanning Tech confirm the dates

There are no repercussions for the Milanese fashion product shows: Lineapelle and Simac Tanning Tech confirm the dates. The three events confirm their already established dates. The trade fair organisations reassure exhibitors and visitors that they are following the current developments closely. Not only that, but also to be following the indications of national and international health authorities.

Lineapelle, Simac Tanning Tech confirm the dates

“The organisational secretariats of Lineapelle and Simac Tanning Tech – says the press note – communicate that the concomitant edition of their fairs, scheduled at Fieramilano Rho February 19-21, 2020, will regularly take place”. The two salons are dedicated respectively to materials and accessories for the fashion supply chain and to machinery and technologies for the tanning and footwear industries. Lineapelle and Simac Tanning Tech also pay attention to the Chinese share of the events: “Lineapelle and Simac express solidarity with the Chinese operators involved, and are at their disposal to reduce the inconvenience they are going through”.

India between expectations and fears

While the Milanese fairs are being prepared, India International Leather Fair went on regularly (February 1-3). Positive impressions rebound from Chennai: compared to the trends of 2019, there are signs of a slight recovery for the leather industry. But there are also concerns: among these, the first is related to the effect of Coronavirus on international trade relations, stresses The Sauer Report.

 Who won’t make it

Coronavirus, however, has already claimed victims in the global exhibition landscape. APLF, the Hong Kong show, has been deciding for a few weeks to decide whether or not to postpone dates. NE Materials Show, however, has already decided: it should have been held in Boston on February 5-6, but has postponed the appointment to a date to be defined. For the similar event in Portland (February 12-13), the fair organisation has yet to express itself. Chinese appointments also capitulated. Messe Frankfurt, reports Fashion Network, postponed the trade shows scheduled in Shanghai for textile-fashion (Intertextile, Apparel Fabrics, Yarn Expo and Intertextile Shanghai Home Textiles). The China National Garment Association comes to the same conclusion regarding Shanghai Chic.
