Lineapelle94 day one was “dynamic”: exhibitors are expecting “peak visits” today

“The first day was good”, remarks Nada Molon, administration manager at David System tannery. Lineapelle94, the most important international exhibition for leather, materials and accessories, on the agenda on February 20-22, yesterday opened its stands to welcome exhibitors and buyers of the fashion industry. Molon’s positive feelings matched with the overall satisfaction at Kara’s tannery stand. With regard to customers as well: “Traditional clients we were expecting to come by actually showed up. In addition to them, some new ones arrived as well”, emphasizes Molon (and the Lombard exhibitor agrees on that). New visitors mostly came from Eastern Europe and South America, as evidence that those markets, a little bit sleepy so far, are showing signs of recovery. “The first day was dynamic and reinforcing – adds Alfonso Giannattasio from Effegi -, but we expect today to be the peak one, as it usually happens on the second day of the exhibition”. It’s not time yet to take stock, of course, though Giuseppe De Maio, from Solofra DMD, while analyzing visitors attendance on the opening day, noticed “fewer French and more Spanish, whereas we expect Eastern visitors to turn up today”.
