London Fashion Week, final day. Leather and accessories together as one. Furs all around

Following New York runway shows, leather and fur are all around at London Fashion Week, closing today. Looking at Anya Hindmarch’s coloured shearling slippers and Simone Rocha’s open ones, made of fur, moving on to Ashley Williams’s hair-on calf leather jackets and Christopher Kane’s smart leather small jackets. In addition to that, Eudon Choi’s orange leather cabans and Versus Versace’s leather skirts. The leading role is taken by fur in several runways: Simone Rocha (presenting wool flowers embroidery), Garret Pugh, Central Saint Martins, J.W.Anderson and Anya Hindmarch (hats, necks and shawl). As for footwear lace up boots are back, as well as sandals, ankle boots shoes and slippers embellished with floral embroidery. Special shapes for Burberry’s small boots heels and Mary Katranztou’s shoes. As for accessories, laminated or classical smooth leather bags, variously shaped, are strictly hand-bags. At London Fashion Week, like earlier in New York, mini-bags are very popular (Mulberry’s on top), together with larger bags, round shaped, similar to hat racks. Several types of leather for accessories and shoes: varnish, crocodile, snake, ostrich, calf, with different shades of colour.
