UNIC-Lineapelle in California: Real Leather is Real Sustainability

There is a strong and clear message to reiterate to the public of consumers, students and professionals in Los Angeles and surroundings: Real Leather is Real Sustainability. For this reason, UNIC – Italian Tanneries and Lineapelle are going to California from February 4-8. The goal is to talk about the quality of Made in Italy leather, of course. But also, to disclose the communication campaign launched on a global scale by the association of Italian tanneries. Not only that: the various appointments are also useful for presenting to Los Angeles the opportunities of Lineapelle, the main international exhibition of leather and materials for fashion.

The meetings

The program provides for UNIC and Lineapelle meetings with academies, retailers and consumers. Seminars are scheduled with teachers of the Art Center, a college that collaborates with American brands in fashion, industrial design, automotive. Presentations with the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising (FIDM) involve not only students, but also alumni now working in companies in the supply chain.

Retailer and producers

Seminars, courses and presentations don’t end there. UNIC and Lineapelle will meet the staff of La La Land, supplier of luxury groups, and independent designers. There are appointments with Communitymade, a concept stores and member’s clubs of professionals and cutting edge consumers. And those with some of the most interesting realities in Los Angeles. Together they bring the message of Italian leather further and further down the supply chain, to the end consumer. Because Real Leather is Real Sustainability.
