Robiki’s tanning cluster relocation speeds up, as first stage is about to be completed. “Stage two is scheduled in April”

The early stage of construction of Robiki, the new Egyptian tanning cluster, is due to be completed by the end of February. 82 plants, 322 manufacturing units, 70 small tanneries are about to move there from Cairo’s old city; 25 companies are already running on site. Such figures, provided by local press, depict a scenario where work-in-progress is already advanced. According to some ministry sources, the second part of the cluster, which extends across an area of 135,000 square metres, will be completed by April. The relocation project, which started in 2014, is going to be fully carried out then.
