September at full speed for Lamborghini. To the point of being “the best September ever”. Last month, in fact, the company from Bologna had record sales. Positive data, however, covered the entire third quarter, coinciding with the launch of three new models.
Best September ever
In September 2020, Lamborghini delivered 738 cars to its customers. A number so high that the month has been defined as the “best September ever”. Not only that: in the third quarter of 2020, Lamborghini delivered a total of 2,083 units worldwide. The house said that, despite a difficult year marked by the pandemic, it has adopted a “dynamic return to business” following the seven-week lockdown. A period during which they initiated a “rethinking of medium-term business strategies”.
Three new models
Lamborghini’s success (also) stems from the launch of 3 new models: Huracan RWD Spyder, Sián Roadster and Essenza SCV12. But, apart from their excellent reception on the market, the Italian house declared that it had achieved important milestones by producing 10,000 Urus and Aventador. Lamborghini has also launched a cultural project to support the country: With Italy, For Italy.
“I am extremely proud of these results, because they demonstrate the excellent work we have done over the years. Maintaining our position as a highly ambitious, desirable and robust brand in the automotive world – explains Stefano Domenicali, president and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini -. Our team has overcome a moment of significant uncertainty with great flexibility, foresight and readiness. We have experimented with new ways to connect with customers and enthusiasts, while continuing our drive to achieve new goals with a constant look to the future. A distinctive feature of Lamborghini”.
