Being a leading international exhibition worldwide calls for a sense of responsibility and, in some cases, a level of sensitivity that goes beyond the exhibition itself, and its aspects related to the sales or business dimensions of the industry. Lineapelle knows this and has decided to act on this knowledge by taking steps to help the communities struck by the recent earthquake in Amatrice. It is doing so by promoting the “Amatriciana solidale”, an initiative launched by Fiera Milano. Indeed, in the restaurants of Fieramilano Rho where the decal shown in the image is on display, it is possible to order a plate of pasta all’amatriciana, with the proceeds going to charity. This pasta is a typical dish of the areas struck by the quake: for each plate eaten, 2 euro will be donated to the Red Cross, which will in turn send the proceeds to those engaged in the reconstruction operations and in managing the emergency. A little goes a long way.
