Lineapelle and Simac Tanning Tech were presented in Rome, marking a new chapter in the revitalization of the Italian industrial system. Italy is focusing on these two key events to strengthen the competitiveness of Made in Italy in the leather and fashion technology sectors. Presented today, Sept. 11, at the ITA Agency site in the capital, the 2025 editions will take place Sept. 23-25 at Fiera Milano Rho. In an economic context marked by a contraction of exports and global challenges, trade fairs take the shape of real laboratories of the future, capable of promoting innovation, internationalization and industrial development. Lineapelle and Simac Tanning Tech introduce themselves
With more than 1,450 exhibitors from 37 countries and 25,000 operators expected, Lineapelle and Simac Tanning Tech will offer an integrated representation of the leather-technology supply chain, consolidating the synergy between UNIC-Italian Tanneries and Assomac–Constructors of Footwear and Leather Goods and Tanning Technology. A synergy that will be formalized on September 23 with a strategic agreement to strengthen collaboration between compartments, innovate production processes and strengthen presence in foreign markets.

Innovation and international outlook
Lineapelle, now in its 106th edition, represents a universe of 50,000 companies and annual sales of 11 billion euro. “Lineapelle is a laboratory of ideas”, said CEO Fulvia Bacchi, emphasizing the fair’s (and not only the fair’s) commitment to innovation, focus on new artificial intelligence tools, design and training. The September event will also host an area at the fair dedicated to SMEs. Aiming to stimulate new energies in the sector, as well as a number of fashion shows by young designers, which will be presented in the new facility at Piazza Tomasi Lampedusa in downtown Milan.
