Fashion Awards crown Gucci: Michele for Accessories, Bizzarri for his business acumen

Alessandro Michele, that has been Gucci creative director for the last two years won the “International Accessories Design” category, in recognition of his international success and for the impetus he gave to the fashion house in 2016. Marco Bizzarri, CEO of the same brand that belongs to the Kering group, has won the Fashion Business Leaders prize thanks to his ability to lead the brand to financial success without inhibiting the stylistic. The Gucci duo (pictured) confirmed itself as a strong partnership by earning these two awards – sponsored by the British Fashion Council – and awarded the last 5th of December in London. Among the winners there were also Vetements, rewarded for his declination of luxury fashion; the designer Balenciaga, Demna Gvasalia, for women’s ready-to-wear; and Ralph Lauren, for his contribution to world fashion.
