Accessories at Lineapelle93: good vibrations for Italians and foreigners on the first day

Good start for accessories at Lineapelle93: on the fair first day, yesterday, trend was good. “Most visitors were faithful customers, rather than new ones, still our early impression is good”, says Andrea Ferrari from O.MA.CA., which is a company headquartered in Verona and specialised in supplying articles, accessories and components for footwear and leather goods. “Let alone footwear overall situation, things are going well; we do hope that in the next few days the good trend will keep up”. Likewise Silvia Polli, from Domodossola Manufacturing: “Lineapelle had a smart kick-off, trend of visitors was positive. Businesswise, 2017 is running smoothly and we are still optimistic”. Such good trend is also backed up by foreigners, who show up at the fair, as they aim to get into Italian market and strengthen their business. “Although it’s just the beginning, it’s fairly good though: we are already up to much work, definitely better than the previous editions”, that’s the early impression taken by Laurens Vasbinder, from Gevaert, the Belgian company that manufactures elastic and stiff ribbons and belts. From Combocal, a Portuguese manufacturer of soles and components for footwear, Josè Valente points out: “We are pretty happy about our opening; since we have been dealing with many foreign countries we would also like to get in touch with Italian customers”. Tim Soloman, from Itshide, British manufacturer of shoe soles in England, is positively shocked by yesterday bustling turnover: “ Our business is still small, we already work with big footwear chains in the UK, as we export our manufacturing in several countries. We run some business in Italy too, quite limited though: our aim is to find some interesting contacts”.
